As the front of house security gate person you will be the welcoming face that meets and greets all visitors arriving on site.  Having welcomed visitors you will explain the health and safety procedures that need to be followed during their stay.  This could include instructions to reverse park, routes that should be adhered to, making them aware of any fire alarms that are scheduled, and explaining where the safety muster points are located.

You’ll also be accountable for monitoring and accepting deliveries, notifying the relevant people via radio of their arrival and ensuring that the site remains a safe and secure environment at all times.

Must be able to start on 12/11/2020

Duties will include:

·         Meeting and greeting all visitors

·         Informing visitors of the health and safety measures on site

·         Booking in all visitors to the site log book and notifying the site of their arrival via radio

·         Controlling the flow of traffic in and out of the site

·         Accepting deliveries

·         Raising any health or safety concerns with the site manager

·         Ensuring that the site entry point is staffed at all times

What we’re looking for:

·         Valid SIA License holder

·         Work history

·         You’ll need to be comfortable being outdoors for long periods of time

·         You’ll need to have good attention to detail

·         Be safety conscious and happy to speak up and raise any concerns

·         Have clear and concise communication skills

·         Someone who is approachable, professional and presentable

·         Experience using IT such as a computer or tablet
